George Andrew Mortensen, son of Andrew Daniel Mortensen and Christina Lauritz Gregersen, was born on 24 February 1906 in Glendale, Franklin, Idaho. George married Mary Louise Myers on 9 November 1939. George died 30 June 1990 in Idaho Falls, Bonneville, Idaho, and is buried in Preston Idaho.
